Restaurants:
Single Bookings $100.00/set for first and second 10-minute set. No more than one hour wait time between sets. $75.00 each additional set.
Lower rates can be negotiated for multiple or regular bookings
Standard Set for Parties
and Weddings: $125.00/set and up
A Standard set lasts about 15 minutes (3-4 songs). Depending on
the desires of the client, this can include a lively
entrance with finger cymbals, a slow and beautiful veil piece, dramatic sword dance, exciting
drum solo, and/or an upbeat fun song to get the guests
up and moving. Audience participation is
encouraged! A great way to get the party started!
Perfect for most parties, socials, and other events.
For Weddings - Program includes a standard set during the dinner or reception . Of course, you want your special day to be perfect! Asra will work with you to make sure your evening is one your guests will remember!
Special requests for music, dance styles, and costuming are possible . The dancer's costume can be matched to your wedding colours if desired. The dancer may also get the bride or other guests of honor up to dance as well as the audience members.
A bellydancer is a great way to liven up the evening and get your guests up on the dance floor!
Additional Sets: $100.00/set
Any set which is in addition to the original set. This always includes a costume change.
A few things are needed:
- A clean and dry dance surface.
- A private area or dressing room (restroom is fine) to change in before and after performing.
- A secure place to keep my belongings while performing.
- Music is individually selected for each event and burned to CD. A sound system that will play burned CDs is required, the louder the better!
- At least one week's notice is preferred.
Regarding Payment:
- A $50 deposit for parties. If you have paid the deposit and need to cancel with reasonable notice (at least a week) I will refund a portion of it. Otherwise the deposit non-refundable. If I have to cancel due to some extreme illness or emergency, I would of course refund your deposit in full.
- Payment is due in full upon arrival at venue
Some questions I will ask about your event:
- What kind of event is it?
- Who will the audience be and how many people do you expect?
- What is the date, time, and location of the performance?
- A name and contact number for the host or whoever is booking me.
- Where is the event taking place? Is it indoors or outdoors?
- How big is the dance space? The bigger the better!!
- Do you want the bellydancer to be a surprise? This requires a touch more planning to make sure I can arrive discreetly and music is in place, but certainly can be done.
- Any special requests regarding music, type of dance etc? I can suggest something that will work with the mood and type of your event.
- Is there a guest(s) of honor? Would you like the dancer to invite them or other audience members up to dance?
- Once again, no bachelor parties or all-male events. Sorry, guys.

Performance and a Bellydance Lesson Package: $125.00 for one hour
This special one hour package is perfect for ladies' only parties, stagettes and showers! Includes a 5-10 minute performance followed by a bellydance lesson for you and your friends. Includes fun coin or fringed hip scarves for up to 35 ladies to wear during the lesson. The focus is making sure everyone is up on their feet and laughing. Always a good time!
Festivals/Fundraisers/Charity Events/Etc
A limited number of charitable/reduced rate bookings are possible per year, generally for causes that are close to my heart. Please contact me to discuss the type of event you are planning, and the length and type of performance you are looking for.

Prices quoted are basic rates and may vary based on distance traveled outside the Winnipeg area, special requests, waiting time, short notice, and any additional special considerations.
Bellygram: $95.00
A Bellygram is a quick 7-8 minute set generally composed of 2-3 short songs.
Affectionately called a "hip-and-run", these are great for a surprise at a birthday party, restaurant, or any other place where something quick and fun is desired. The dancer gets the guest of honor up on their feet, photos taken, and then it's back to the festivities!
